2025 Event Overview

Meeting on Kaurna Land, the National First Nations Housing and Homelessness Forum brought together influential voices from across the nation to share knowledge and experiences in housing supply and capacity, with a focus on the policies driving change in homelessness and participation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The forum provided a unique opportunity to connect with Indigenous and mainstream housing providers, government representatives, social services, architects, construction companies, and investors committed to making a positive impact on the housing needs of First Nations people.

Powerful Indigenous voices from across Australia stood together on the Advisory Board. Their knowledge helped build a forum focused on community innovation and the future of Indigenous self determination. As leaders across the housing spectrum from homelessness to culturally safe housing, they brought deep expertise and lived experience. They were committed to sharing key insights shaping the sector through open discussion, practical solutions and actionable change.
